In communities across the country, young people are left alone in the critical after-school hours. Attracting and involving at-risk youth to participate in positive alternatives to negative activities is a hallmark of Boys and Girls Clubs. Club programs and services promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence.
